Silly Season indeed

I just cannot believe that this year has nearly gone!! Christmas is only 2 weeks away! A lot of you are booked in before Christmas....good job. If some of you haven't quite got that organised just give us a call and as always we'll try our best to look after you!

Thought we would start sharing with you what goes on here at the salon when you're not gracing us with your presence....

Show week is fast approaching so it's time to start planning (if you haven't already), What to wear and how to have your hair!

We've sourced a few piccies for inspiration but from where we're sitting (directly in front of the Imac) it looks like Volume and soft curls is going to be a winner....and if you're wanting an updo We're putting our bets on a tousled romantic look with a bit of structure and fun accessories.

So get your diaries out and book in your blow waves and hair ups! We'll have some bubbly treats waiting to help start your day.

Just wanted to let you all in on a wee gem that is one of my beautiful friend/Clients blog.
Chloe is one of the most gorgeous girls I know and her blog is my religious 'go to' when I'm feeling a little fug and require an instant pick me up. Enjoy!! Not just a pretty face.

KDHD Lovely

This gorgeous snap of Rachael reminded me of my very last post...Rach has a light brown base and lately we have been balayaging out the ends of her hair to lighten her up for Spring and Summer.  Obviously it's working for her as she looks beautiful. 

By the way this photo was taken at 5am whilst floating in a hot air balloon above a gorgeous Spring morning! Sigh.

Brunette meets blonde

I love this look for long haired brunettes...with Spring in the air and Summer on your 'to do' list it's time to lighten yourself up....thats where balayage comes in,  a technique where the colour is painted on freehand to achieve a beautiful sun kissed look!! By concentrating the lighter tones through the mid lengths and ends of your hair it lightens you up but you still have that depth through your roots so you don't look washed out.... FANTASTIC,  Love it.

Here come the Brides

I thought with wedding season rapidly approaching I would post a couple of beautiful Brides whose hair was in my hands for their big days!! I love beautiful soft romantic styles for a wedding.....I think you should always look like yourself and natural and of course absolutely gorgeous!
